Progress with Purpose
2025 has been a landmark year that’s seen us take the closest look at our carbon impact ever and make sure we’ve not been on the naughty list! This includes taking a hard look at our supply chain too. We have been working to the standards required to become a B Corp certified business and have our fingers crossed for our biggest Christmas wish – to achieve B Corp status early in the new year!
We continued our support for the Community Fridge project at Oasis Waterloo and delivered our 2000 th boxed meal back in October. We also put on a fantastic Christmas lunch for the team and regular users there- with a few seasonal songs around the tree too!
Speaking of trees, our Southbank popup Fire & Fromage is donating 50p from every fondue sold this season towards our carbon offsetting projects with our friends at SkootEco – so adding to our forest of mangrove trees and supporting plastic removal from oceans – “sleigh”!
As a team, this year we enjoyed team trips to Marrakech and Brighton which helped spark inspiration and strengthen our close-knit JGC family.
We also enjoyed celebrating International Women’s Day and holding team meditation sessions at the office - led by our in-house yogi, Valeria.
