Our “favourite 5” events of 2023

It’s an impossible task but we’ve had a go!

It might be because of the surroundings and environment; it might be because of the amazing lengths the chefs went to or it might be because of a particular challenge that was presented. Whatever it was, Ellie Foreman, our Head of Operations and Andrew Dean, Head of Sales have agreed that these are the events from this year that will live long in their memories.

Swarovski Design Museum Kensington May

The design museum is always an inspiring place to work, and on this particular occasion we really delivered against the amazing backdrop of the venue and served guests at four long tables on two floors divided by an atrium. And we ended the service with the Swarovski swan represented as an amazing dessert.

Future Dreams Charity Ball The Roundhouse, Camden March

Neon 23 was the big fundraising event for Future Dreams, the Breast Cancer awareness charity. A star studded and very moving event for sure, and enhanced by being at the excellent Roundhouse, a venue dripping with rock ‘n’ roll heritage which always bring out the best in the team.

Pinterest Protein Studios, Shoreditch April

This was for the Pinvision event, where the entire audience were passionate about imagery, so we had to make sure that the food we served them was as attention grabbing as it was delicious. Served as canapes and bowls, cue our edible garden, “afternoon tea” and other visual feasts.

TikTok at Eurovision
Royal Liver Building
Liverpool April

This was a really joyful event to be part of. TikTok hosted over a hundred creators as part of their Eurovision activity, and our team took inspiration from previous winners and songs to design a themed menu that also paid tribute to produce and recipes from Ukraine and their UK host city, Liverpool. And of course, this was an audience that was going to capture every single item served to them!

A private 50th Birthday weekend Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk September

This was a 3-day event that really tested the chefs - cooking indoors and outdoors, a mix of relatively formal and really informal amongst beautiful surroundings for a really lovely crowd. The Ofyr (barbecue/firepit) got a proper workout!
