Spring Showcase at The Barn at Botley Hill
Earlier this month we headed down to The Barn at Botley Hill for their Spring Showcase, and it was one of those days that just clicked.
Botley does that thing where the view steals the show at first, but then the food quietly starts to demand your attention. You’re mid conversation, torn between the Surrey Hills and whatever’s just landed on your plate.
We kept things loose and easy. Guests wandered, explored and ate as they went. Pannise with garlic aioli, steak tartare croustades, then straight outside to the OFYR where steak sandwiches with chimichurri and provolone were coming off the fire, alongside charred aubergine versions.
The mini dessert table had its own moment, with burnished lemon meringue tarts, chocolate crémeux and margarita inspired spheres.
It also marked something bigger for us. From 2027 we will be Botley’s exclusive caterer, alongside launching our new fire kitchen with live cooking over wood, which fits the vibe of the venue and its location perfectly.
A great venue, a great fit, and plenty more to come.
