L’Oréal x LOOKFANTASTIC at Battersea Power Station

Last night we were back at Battersea Power Station for an intimate dinner with L’Oréal and LOOKFANTASTIC, this time taking over the incredible Control Room A.

With just 26 guests, everything felt more considered. We started with a drinks reception and a trio of canapés that were light, sharp and very easy to keep picking at. Chicken caesar tacos with cured egg yolk, tuna tataki with pickled ginger, the kind of bites that disappear quickly.

Once seated, things moved into starters that played on familiar favourites but gave them a bit of a refresh. Burratina with wild garlic and spring vegetables, a prawn cocktail with a cleaner, brighter edge. Comforting, but with a bit more polish.

For mains, we kept things confident and elegant. Beef with salsa verde, sea bream with lemon and caper butter, served with generous sides for the table. Thousand layer potatoes, charred Tenderstem, Vichy carrots, plus sauces to pass around so everyone could build their plate their own way.

Dessert was the showstopper. Chocolate and caramel with gold detailing, alongside liquid nitrogen ice cream that pulled everyone in for a closer look.

It also felt close to us in a different way. Just a short hop from our HQ, and a venue that’s really put Battersea on the map in recent years, with some amazing suppliers nearby too.

The whole evening flowed exactly how you want it to. Great food, a beautiful space, and brand moments that slipped in naturally without ever taking over. Everything truly looked fantastic.
