Jimmy Garcia Catering becomes a Certified B Corp™

We are beyond proud to announce that Jimmy Garcia Catering is now certified as a B Corporation™ (or B Corp™) - joining a growing group of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit. We have been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, for meeting rigorous social and environmental standards that demonstrate a commitment to goals beyond shareholder profit.

For a long time, we’ve been mindful of our impact on the beautiful planet we all share, and we are incredibly grateful to the brilliant suppliers we work with who help keep us true to those values. We take great care in choosing who we partner with to provide exceptional produce, and wherever possible we forage and grow our own ingredients. More recently, we’ve also become increasingly involved in supporting communities close to us and looking at how we can better support our team at JGC. Taking this wider view of sustainability has played a big part in helping us achieve B Corp certification.

Looking back to when we first started the business, there have been many highs along the journey - and this is a particularly significant milestone for us. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our friends, partners, suppliers and team members, past and present, who have helped us get here. We’re excited to share more of the positive work we have planned this year as we continue on this journey.
