A few words from our new Managing Director Alana Buckley

We asked our new Managing Director at Jimmy Garcia Catering, Alana Buckley to end our final newsletter of 2025 with her thoughts on her first few months working with the JGC team and what she is looking forward to most in 2026. 

The past few months at Jimmy Garcia Catering have flown by and it has been a proper reminder of what makes this industry special: brilliant people, bold ideas, and the craft of bringing moments to life. From day one, I’ve felt welcomed into a passionate, creative, hardworking team, and I’ve loved getting under the skin of the business, meeting our clients and partners, and seeing the care that goes into every detail. 

One standout moment was seeing the impact of the team’s work giving back at Waterloo Community Kitchen, serving meals to those who need them most. It made me feel genuinely proud to be part of Jimmy Garcia Catering.

Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited to build on this momentum by strengthening our operations, investing in the team, and pushing our food and service even further. I can’t wait to work even more closely with our venues and clients to create experiences that are truly memorable and showcase the very best of Jimmy Garcia Catering.

I’d like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Thank you for such a warm welcome and for making my first few months so enjoyable. I’m looking forward to what we will achieve together in 2026.
