If there’s one thing you quickly learn working in events, it’s that nothing ever goes exactly to plan. Just ask Chase.

As one of our Operations Managers, Chase has seen it all - from venues that unexpectedly flood to VIPs who casually stroll in unannounced (one of them just happened to be the King). Through it all, he’s the calmest person in the room, the one quietly orchestrating the show behind the scenes, always with a plan…

“It’s varied, random, exciting,” he says of his role and it’s exactly that unpredictability that fuels his passion. Whether it’s a last-minute schedule change, a styling tweak just before doors open, or an electrics failure in the middle of a wedding, Chase thrives on the challenge.

One of his most memorable moments? A wedding where torrential rain flooded the venue. The bride had to hike up her dress to wade across what had become a small river just to reach the toilets. Then the power went out. Somehow, Chase kept everyone smiling, especially the bride. “We laughed about it together,” he says. “That moment really taught me how powerful it is to stay calm and build real rapport with people.”

That level-headedness is part of what makes him so integral to our team. The other part? His eye for detail and his belief that even the smallest tools can have the biggest impact. His current secret weapon: double-sided sticky dots. “They’re magic,” he insists. “Super strong, totally discreet — they could probably hold two people together if needed.”

Chase’s journey is one rooted in hard work and humility. He started out as a kitchen porter, working his way through the industry one event at a time, now managing high-profile, international productions with ease. “There’s something to learn in every role,” he says. “Respect every position, stay humble, and keep learning. That’s how you grow.”

Chase doesn’t need a hype playlist to get in the zone (though he’ll happily blast Energy by Disclosure on the journey in). His energy comes from the thrill of the unknown, the satisfaction of a job well done, and the quiet pride of turning chaos into something unforgettable.
